From Massage Table to Virtual Practice
At sixteen, I was the youngest student in my class to complete a massage therapy program. That began a career that would take me through spas, wellness centers, chiropractic offices, and PT clinics nationwide — building a deep, hands-on understanding of the body long before I entered doctoral training.
I continued through an associate degree in Psychology, then into natural healthcare sciences, while simultaneously teaching anatomy and physiology in massage therapy schools. Being a single mother and full-time student taught me as much about resilience as any textbook.
When I discovered naturopathy, it resonated immediately. But I saw a gap: traditional naturopaths often lacked deep biochemical training, while those pursuing medical naturopathy were abandoning holistic principles. I chose a third path — traditional naturopathy with rigorous functional medicine and laboratory diagnostic training.
That conviction led me to build Holistic Family Practice as a virtual-first practice — culturally aligned, convenient, and accessible whenever you need it. By combining clinical excellence with patient education and cultural sensitivity, every tool serves the same mission: empowering you to understand and heal yourself, in a way that honors who you are.
