1. Education, Not Individual Medical Advice
Our public content is for general education. It is not medical advice for you, and it is not a diagnosis or treatment plan. Reading our website, watching our videos, attending a webinar, buying a course, or using a tool does not create a practitioner-patient relationship. That relationship begins only after a formal intake and mutual agreement to work together.

2. Credentials and Scope of Practice
Dr. Erica Steele, DNM, ND, MPH, MBA, BCND, CFMP, is a nationally board-certified naturopathic doctor (Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor through the American Naturopathic Association). Naturopathy is not a licensed profession in Virginia, and Dr. Steele practices under her national board certification, not a state medical license. She is not a medical doctor (MD or DO) and does not prescribe medication.
- When a laboratory test or prescription is appropriate, it is ordered by an independent licensed physician.
- Every patient is required to keep a relationship with a primary care provider. Our care works alongside that relationship and does not replace it.
- Do not stop, start, or change any prescribed medication without talking to the provider who prescribed it.
3. Medical Emergencies
If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number right away. Do not use our website, forms, app, or messaging for emergencies.
4. Supplements and Natural Products
Statements about dietary supplements, herbs, and natural products have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Supplements can interact with medications and health conditions. Check with your provider before you start one, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking medication.
5. Testing and Assessments
Some of the assessments we offer, including bioenergetic and biofield assessments, genetic and methylation reports, and functional laboratory panels, are used to guide education and care planning. Bioenergetic and biofield assessments are not diagnostic tests and do not replace standard medical testing. Genetic results describe tendencies, not certainties.
6. Tools and Calculators
Online tools such as the macro calculator give general estimates based on standard formulas. They are a starting point for education, not a prescription, and may not suit you if you are pregnant, nursing, under 18, managing a medical condition, or have a history of disordered eating. Talk with your provider before making major changes to how you eat.
7. Results Vary
Every body is different. Stories, testimonials, and examples we share describe individual experiences and are not a promise of the same results. We do not guarantee any particular health outcome.
